THE MOJO STARS
The Mojo Stars, are a rock and roll influenced, soul saturated, blues tinged band that will move you all over the dance floor.
CHALLENGES
The band had just released their second CD and were looking to raise their profile, both locally and nationally.
STRATEGIES
We decided on a three-point strategy that would help the band connect with a wider audience.
First, we aligned their social media and began creating content that not only showcased their music but also the band members themselves.
We then set about revamping and updating the website, making it more representable of the band’s image.
Lastly, we filmed a music video in which
we partnered up with a local Swing Dance academy who were featured with the band in the video.
OUTCOME
After months of hard work, the band held a CD release party at one of Vancouver’s premiere live music venues.
The new website, increased social media channel activity, and buzz around the video had made it possible for the band to connect with a much wider audience and helped to ensure a sold-out crowd.
