James ‘Super Chikan’ Johnson
A Life in Blues

In 2022, Ten to a Room started their first-ever documentary.
In 2019, company partner, Mark Rankin brought famed blues musician, James ‘Super Chikan’ Johnson
to Vancouver to play a series of shows with his band. 

This started a journey to document the life and career of Johnson, which culminated in
a trip to his hometown of Clarksdale, Mississippi in 2022.

The film itself will be ready for audiences in late 2023.
